Kvas Lavender Lemon Scones

Kvas Lavender Lemon Scones

  • 1/4 cup Kvas Lavender Jasmine Simple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup White Sugar
  • 3 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup Butter (chopped) 
  • 1-cup Milk
  • 5 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg (whisked)
  • 1/2 Orange Zest
  • 1/2 Lemon Zest

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix thoroughly. For lemon and orange grate in the zest of 1/2 the fruit.

Roll out onto floured surface and cut/roll into 2" balls.

Melt a small amount of butter in the microwave for 20 seconds and grease baking pan with melted butter. 

Place a 2" dough ball in each muffin inlet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Best enjoyed with a coffee!
