Marie's Margarita

When we made our whisky sour syrup, little did we know just how good of a margarita it would make. This recipe is equal ratios so is easy to remember and is a classic recipe in our house, for anyone who enjoys tequila (or mezcal for you smoke lover folks). 

Marie's Margarita 

• 1.5 oz Kvas Whisky Sour Syrup
• 1.5 oz Tequila (or Mezcal)
• Rim (1/2 Salt, 1/2 Sugar)

Add salt/sugar rim mixture to a small plate. Use a lime wedge to coat glass surface and place the top of the glass into the rim mixture.

Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice, shake and strain into a coupe or margarita glass over ice.

You can also use a blender and blend the ingredients over ice!

Kvas Whisky Sour Syrup has quickly become our most popular syrup to date. While it makes a perfect whisky sour, with merely the addition of whisky, it also goes great with gin, or in this case tequila!
